Hi I'm Kirsten, professional doula, pediatric sleep consultant, doula trainer and owner of a doula agency. I've been caring for infants since 2010 and caring for new moms and infants since 2012. I'm passionate about helping parents get the rest, recovery and sleep they need. I have worked with hundreds of families in PA, OH and throughout the USA.

As a birth doula, social worker, and proud parent parent of two incredible daughters, my journey into birth work is deeply personal and rooted in both lived experience and professional purpose. I know what it feels like to navigate pregnancy with support and I know what it feels like to do don't alone. Those contrasting experiences shaped my passion for showing up fully for others during one of life's most powerful and vulnerable transitions. As a certified birth doula, I'm passionate about supporting families through the incredible journey of childbirth. Being bilingual in Spanish and English allows me to connect with a diverse range of clients, ensuring everyone feels understood and supported. As a Latina Mexican American, I’m deeply committed to reproductive justice and making sure that every birthing person, regardless of gender, feels safe and respected. My goal is to provide inclusive care that honors each person’s unique experience. When I’m not working, I’m a full-time mom who loves to volunteer and give back to the community. I have a special interest in human milk and chestfeeding, and I’m dedicated to helping parents navigate this important aspect of early parenting. I also enjoy educating parents on safe co-sleeping practices and cloth diapering. Additionally, I offer free emotional support for those considering or undergoing abortions, ensuring they have the compassionate care they need. If there’s something I don’t know, I’ll find the right expert for you. In my downtime, you can often find me enjoying a green tea matcha oat latte with lavender honey, my favorite treat. I’m all about creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.

Hello! I'm Mandee, the owner of "She Must Be Loved Doula Services" My name "Mandee" translates to “she must be loved” or “worthy of love,” which inspired the title of my christian based private doula practice: She Must Be Loved Doula Services. I firmly believe that every mother deserves to feel cherished throughout her journey into motherhood, from preparation to the birthing experience and beyond. While I value the moments spent with newborns, my primary focus is on supporting and uplifting mothers. Although I am newer to the role of a doula -I believe I bring valuable insights derived from my doula training that acquired through the "A woman who serves" doula training program, virtual and in-person care I've provided, as well as my personal experiences as a mother of three daughters. My first daughter was born in London, England; my second in Boston, Massachusetts; and my third in Dublin, Ohio. Throughout this journey, I have been fortunate to receive prenatal midwifery care, with my first daughter delivered by midwives and, continued midwifery support for my subsequent children. The knowledge I gained from this experience was invaluable. Unfortunately, my exceptional midwife could not attend the birth of my second daughter, and I was cared for by an OBGYN. This experience taught me the vital importance of receiving love and compassion from your care provider during childbirth. Despite feeling mistreated by the OBGYN in Boston, I recognize my inherent worthiness of love and compassion, which I strive to extend to others. My third daughter was also delivered with the assistance of an OBGYN here in Ohio. That experience was notably more positive because I found my voice, and my husband and I became strong advocates for my needs and desires. I have learned a lot from my birthing experiences, both overseas and in the United States. I am dedicated to ensuring that other women have the best possible birthing experience. A mother must feel loved to foster a positive and empowering environment. The four pillars of doula support include physical support, emotional support, informational support, and advocacy. Additionally, I aspire to introduce a fifth pillar that holds special significance for me: spiritual support.
